08 / Questions

Common questions.

What should our team arrange before the inspection?

Your facility coordinates safe access, operating conditions, escorts, and qualified electrical personnel where energized equipment must be opened or accessed. John confirms these arrangements when scoping the work.

Can we use IID if we already have a provider?

Yes. IID offers second opinions, repair verification, mid-cycle checks, and supplemental coverage alongside an existing program.

Does IID perform the electrical repairs?

IID provides infrared inspection and reporting and does not sell the corrective electrical repair. The customer arranges corrective work with its chosen electrical professional.

What information do I need to get started?

A property or location, contact details, and a brief description are enough to begin a conversation. Detailed equipment lists can follow during scoping.

What does an infrared inspection tell us?

It identifies thermal patterns that can help direct maintenance attention. Evaluation depends on equipment access and operating conditions, and the detailed scope and limitations are documented with the inspection.
